Garry Stuber introducing himself
I started my diving addiction in 1985 after growing up in the State Arizona. I joined the US Army and moved to Monterey California. I received my training in the military, as a diver and spent the next 6 years diving for work and play.
Finishing my Military Service I trained to become a Instructor for PADI in 1992. Then I made my PADI Master Scuba Diver Trainer as well as a SDI/TDI Instructor.
I also hold certifications with the National Association for Cave Diving(NACD) as a Full Cave Diver and from Technical Diving International (TDI) in various wreck and extended range and TRI mix gas diving
I am also PADI/DSAT technical deep, full trimix, sidemount, advanced wreck and cave diving are also some of the other courses I teach.
I am also a US merchant marine officer with Captains rating and a DSAT gas blending Instructor.
I have explored some of the best dive sites in the world, including Puerto Rico, Bahamas, US Virgin Islands, Bonaire, Belize, Cozumel, British Colombia, Sea of Cortez, East coast of Africa including Kenya, Zanzibar, South Africa.
Living in the state Minnesota, I started diving the deep wrecks of the Great Lakes and found a whole new level of diving. I can only say that the wrecks are worth all the work and training it takes to dive them.
I became an instructor for the sole purpose of teaching people the wonders of the under water world. My goal in teaching scuba is simple. I set out to teach the best divers I can, in hopes that they will go on and find the same kind of love and passion I did for this incredible sport. . Diving and Teaching for me has been a life long passion.
